Peace 4 Gun Violence grew from Tara Parks’s personal loss. After losing her son to gun violence in 2014, she chose to honor his life by working to create real solutions for children and families.
Her son cared deeply about children and making sure they felt included. Today, that love continues through support, mentoring, meals, clothing, gifts, and community outreach.

Peace 4 Gun Violence is dedicated to preventing gun violence, empowering our youth, and building stronger, safer communities. We provide resources, support, mentoring, and life skills to help children make positive choices.
The work is rooted in education, faith, and real opportunities for young people to build brighter futures.
